Alameda County Fire

Alameda County Fire Department LogoAlameda County Fire Department provides all risk service to the unincorporated areas of Alameda County, City of San Leandro, City of Dublin, and to the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. An ever expanding dependent special district, Alameda County Fire needed elected to outsource all IT support to DNI so it could focus on fire suppression, arson investigation, hazardous materials mitigation, paramedic services, urban search and rescue, fire prevention and public education. Through outsourcing with DNI, Alameda County Fire has been able to scale efficiently with each consolidation, leverage reliable IT systems to protect citizens and property, and realize maximum returns from IT budget dollars.

 

City of American Canyon

City of American Canyon LogoThe City of American Canyon is a city located in southern Napa County, California, 35 miles (56 km) northeast of San Francisco. Located in Napa County, American Canyon has experienced tremendous growth. It turned to DNI for project support when it moved into its new City Hall. Working within a challenging budget, DNI developed an IT blue print that incorporated voice, network, and city services in an inclusive strategy that enabled American Canyon residents to be properly served. The implementation of the plan has met all expectations and occurred on time and on budget.

 

Alameda County Department of Support Services

The Alameda County Department of Child Support Services (DCCS) establishes paternity and child support orders, collects child, medical, and spousal support payments, modifies orders and provides medical enforcement services. This organization uses 400 attorneys working in multiple locations. To work efficiently, those attorneys require remote access to highly confidential data and applications from the Department of Justice, DCCS, and other organizations. DCCS engaged DNI to create an infrastructure that would allow secure access to confidential data, remote applications, and redundant services. The Citrix-based system has provided DCCS with the flexibility it needs to control cost without compromising security or performance.
